If you've seen my previous post, then you know things are a bit hectic in my house right now. The past two days have been a blur of tears, packing, trying to figure out travel arrangements, and doing last minute errands such as buying funeral clothes, laundry, making arrangements for the Chewie, Penny, and Rex, etc.
Tomorrow morning, Mike and I leave to head home to NY. We'll be running around seeing family, helping his grandmother, and going to the services. It's going to be a crazy week, and I won't be online much. I'm going to try to schedule as many posts as I can for this week, but I'm on a bit of a time crunch. Hopefully you all understand.
I just wanted to say, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. All the wonderful readers who've reached out via Twitter, comments, and email. All the amazing bloggers who've offered their sympathies and offered ears to listen and shoulders to cry on. I don't have the words to explain how much that meant to my husband and I. A death in the family is always hard, but you all made it a bit easier, knowing I have all of you to fall back on. There are no words to describe how grateful I am for each and every one of you. The blogging and reading community is really like a family, and I'm so appreciative that you all rallied around me.
So, again. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I hope that everything goes as smoothly as it can for you in this hectic and sad time. Having been through something similar recently, I know that this is a difficult time for you and your loved ones, and I just wanted to send you some more love from the blogosphere.
